Heather Asiala

Program Director for Strategic Initiatives

Heather Asiala serves as program director for strategic initiatives in the Office of the President. In this role, she focuses on strategic initiatives, event support, and special projects in service of the President. Heather also serves as business manager for the Office of the President and provides support in this capacity to the many units that report to the Office.

Prior to joining the Office of the President, Heather served as communications program director at Notre Dame’s Pulte Institute for Global Development, part of the Keough School of Global Affairs.  Heather has several years of experience in higher education administration and communications at institutions in the United States and the United Kingdom. Prior to joining the Pulte Institute, Heather served as Program Manager for the Strathclyde Entrepreneurial Network (SEN) at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland.

Heather holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Grand Valley State University and a master’s in nonprofit administration from the University of Notre Dame.
