Response to Reports on Women and Diversity
In the Fall of 2007, after consulting with Provost Tom Burish, Father Jenkins asked the University Committee on Women Faculty and Students and the University Committee on Cultural Diversity to present to him recommendations on ways in which Notre Dame could enhance support for diversity and for women faculty and students at Notre Dame. The committees submitted their reports in April 2008.
On March 2, 2009, after receiving additional input from various University constituencies during the fall semester, the President and Provost issued a response to the reports.
