Please join University President Father John Jenkins, C.S.C., for a festive evening of food, fellowship, and fireworks! As he prepares to step down as president, this gathering is Fr. Jenkins’ way of thanking students for the many ways you have supported and inspired him during his 19 years as Notre Dame’s leader.
- Mass: 5:15 p.m., Basilica of the Sacred Heart
- Picnic: 6:15 p.m., South Quad
- Pizza and Fireworks: 8:30 p.m., South Quad
The evening begins with Mass in the Basilica, Fr. Jenkins presiding, followed by an all-student picnic on South Quad beginning at 6:15. There will be food trucks, a DJ, and yard games.
Then join Fr. Jenkins for Papa John’s Pizza and fireworks beginning at 8:30 p.m.
A Notre Dame ID will be required to be served food. Families of graduate students are welcome and encouraged to attend.
