Beth Swift serves as director in the office of the President. In this role, Ms. Swift serves as principal advisor to the Chief of Staff in developing and implementing a wide variety of strategic projects for the President’s Office. Additionally, she provides critical support to the Board of Trustees, President’s Leadership Council and as University liaison to Commencement honorees.
Prior to serving in this role, Ms. Swift spent sixteen years working in the Offices of Treasury Services and Budget and Financial Planning within the University’s Finance Division. Before coming to Notre Dame, she worked at a number of financial institutions, including the Chicago offices of Merrill Lynch and Stein Roe & Farnham. Ms. Swift earned a Master of Business Administration degree from DePaul University and bachelor’s degree in finance from Northern Illinois University.
Ms. Swift and her husband, Rich, are the parents of two sons, Michael and Patrick.
