Mirella Riley

Mirella Riley joined the Office of the President in August 2007 as executive assistant. In this role, she assists the President and the chief of staff with correspondence, project and event management, and meeting preparation. She also serves as a primary office liaison to students and chairs the drug testing committee for student athletes.

After graduating from Notre Dame in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in sociology, Ms. Riley worked in the consumer finance industry in her native Los Angeles. In 1997, she joined the Notre Dame Alumni Association and served as assistant director and then director for alumni clubs and student programs until 2006. She was responsible for the development and implementation of numerous Alumni Association programs for students and alumni; including development, coordination, assessment and communication of programs for more than 200 domestic alumni clubs and constituency groups, such as the Minority Alumni Network.

Most recently, Ms. Riley directed academic programs for the Alumni Association. Having general oversight of academic offerings for alumni, she facilitated delivery and created awareness of university programs for various constituencies.
